In February 2021, (just a few months as of this writing) Anthony will be celebrating 15 years with Steinger, Greene & Feiner. We couldn’t have asked for a more dedicated, intelligent, and loyal attorney and we are grateful to be celebrating this milestone together!
The saying goes that family trumps all, and in Anthony Visone’s case, that saying is unequivocally true. And after spending years building multimillion-dollar cases for his clients, Anthony believes that his clients become family. Watching someone rebuild their life for 2 years and fighting for every inch you can get them in the court room, leaves a lasting affect on you… something Anthony doesn’t take lightly.
But it doesn’t always begin that way. Anthony’s story begins in Queens, more specifically Ozone Park. Before Steinger, Greene & Feiner, before fighting for clients who became family, Anthony was a college grad who took a chance, took a leap, and took the LSAT. As it turned out, Anthony had an aptitude for the law, and that soon took him from NYU to St. John’s University – School of Law.
That’s where Anthony’s story begins. For most of Anthony’s clients, a new chapter in their story begins when they walk into his office.
“My two most memorable cases both involved clients who lost a leg in terrible car crashes. Both cases each took up about two years of my life working closely with firm partners Sean Greene and Alfred Bell. These clients and their families became our family and we literally did everything we could to help these people get their lives back. It was my most rewarding experience for sure.”
Anthony’s friends, clients, and by extension, family describe him as loyal, honest, and dependable. We just call him Anthony. Another member of the Steinger, Greene & Feiner family that we are so fortunate to have.
Anthony J. Visone joined Steinger, Greene & Feiner in 2006 right after moving from New York to Palm Beach. He has more than 20 years of experience in personal injury law and is admitted to practice law in Florida, New York, and Utah.
Mr. Visone has been involved in the litigation of several multi-million-dollar leg amputation cases and is currently working on new ways to help amputees with their legal needs, since joining Steinger, Greene & Feiner.
Though he was born and raised in Queens, Mr. Visone is a citizen of the world. He has spent time in New York, Utah, Europe, Tokyo, and now resides in Florida. He misses those New York City winters and the traffic the most… ok, he doesn’t miss those at all. In fact, he thinks Florida summers are just grand.
If he wasn’t fighting for people in Florida, he would be traveling the world, writing about his experiences, eating incredible food, and publishing those experiences on Trip Advisor or the Michelin Guide. Like most of us, Mr. Visone hopes for some normalcy soon so we can get a reservation at Capital Grille.
He has been actively involved in promoting pro bono efforts among attorneys in Port St. Lucie and has assisted Florida Rural Legal Services in helping coordinate local “Ask a Lawyer” events to help ensure equal access to justice for the less fortunate. He has been the recipient of the Nineteenth Circuit Pro Bono Publico Award in 2013, 2014, and 2015 for significant contributions as President of the Port St. Lucie Bar Association in expanding equal access to justice for residents of St. Lucie County.
If there’s one thing that Mr. Visone wishes all his clients knew it is this: “That we cannot get them the best results if they are not 100% completely honest with us. All of the skeletons in the closet no matter how bad they may seem can be dealt with as long as we know about them in advance!”
This attorney spotlight is part of a series to highlight the outstanding work and dedication that Steinger, Greene & Feiner attorneys deliver every day.
