Javier Jerez is an attorney in the Fort Lauderdale and Miami offices of Steinger, Greene & Feiner. He was admitted into the Florida Bar in 2015 and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida in 2018. Javier grew up in Havana, Cuba, and the South Florida area and is a member of the local community. Javier graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor’s in Political Science in 2012. He then attended Florida International College of Law, graduating with a J.D. in 2015.
Javier began his professional career working for a boutique personal injury firm handling auto accidents, slip and falls, wrongful death cases, and trucking accident cases. He went on to work for a firm that emphasized taking cases to trial where he was part of the team that earned Top 50 Premises Liability Verdicts in Florida 2018 honors. As the son of immigrant parents and being a first-generation college student, he understands the financial difficulties clients face sometimes.
Javier is passionate about making a difference in his client’s lives. Seeking help at a low point in their lives, he strives to make sure that at the conclusion of their case, the client has been helped feel better physically and helped financially.
