Gavin Vargas is an associate attorney at the West Palm Beach office of Steinger, Greene & Feiner. He represents victims of automobile, motorcycle, slip and fall, food poisoning, premise and product liability disputes. Gavin is highly skilled in written and oral advocacy, having negotiated over a thousand cases with major insurance companies and recovering millions of dollars in settlements for his clients.
Originally from Tampa Florida, Gavin graduated from Florida Atlantic University obtaining a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in management, finance and business law. Thereafter, he attended St. Thomas University School of Law in Miami where he received his Juris Doctor (J.D) degree. During law school, Gavin distinguished himself by receiving the prestigious Cali Excellence for the Future Award for Appellate Advocacy. This award is given to those who receive the highest grade in each class. Gavin received this award after successfully arguing an appellate brief in front of the Chief Justice of The Third District Court of Appeal. In addition, Gavin had the opportunity to gain valuable experience as a legal intern at The State Attorney’s Office 13th Judicial Circuit. As an intern, he gained significant exposure to a broad range of interesting and complex legal issues. This experience taught him how to prepare multifaceted cases for trial.
After passing the Florida State Bar Exam, Gavin worked as a litigation associate for a full service real estate law firm in Tampa, Florida. There, he provided legal representation to the nation’s top financial institutions. During his tenure, he negotiated various types of commercial contracts, led mediations, conducted formal discovery, and attended courtroom proceedings. Through this experience, he gained a detailed understanding of litigation practice, giving him a clear understanding for advocating in the best interest of his client.
Thereafter, Gavin transitioned to a well-known South Florida law firm representing plaintiffs of personal injury disputes. While working as a personal injury attorney, Gavin has developed persuasive and aggressive negotiation tactics to help his clients receive the maximum compensation for their injuries. Gavin is dedicated to ensuring that his clients are being represented to the fullest and understands that time is of the essence.
