Philip Wyman is one of our litigation attorneys at our Nashville office. During his final year of law school, he joined our team as a law clerk. While at law school, he was working at a local insurance defense litigation firm. He learned a unique perspective from this job to see the insurance company’s side of personal injury claims.
During his tenure at Belmont, he achieved a Doctorate of Jurisprudence and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in the music business and a minor in music production. While in law school, Philip served as a leading member of Belmont’s mock trial team and achieved national recognition and ranking in the American Association for Justice’s National Mock Trial Competition.
During Philip’s professional tenure, he has assisted in representing both injured plaintiffs and insurance companies regarding personal injury claims and lawsuits within the realm of civil tort litigation. Specifically, before obtaining his licensure, he has served in every support role within a law firm. Due to Philip’s exceptional work history, he brings a unique perspective to the intricacies of civil tort litigation.
Philip joined SGF’s trial group as a law clerk during his final year of law school. Presently, he is an associate attorney at SGF, practicing with the firm’s Tennessee litigation team.
Due to his experience on both sides of the “v” Philip brings a real-life point of view to SGF thanks to his understanding of the complexities of personal injury litigation. As an advocate for injury victims, Philip’s passion for justice is evident in his representation of each of his clients in and out of the courtroom.
In his free time, Philip loves to hang out with his family and his dog Sammy. When it is a nice day out, you can find Philip golfing with his friends. Being a music lover at heart, he enjoys all of the music history Nashville has to offer.
