Jeff Alexander

Jeff Alexander has concentrated his practice on cases involving complex medical causation issues relative to motor vehicle accidents, slip and fall, food bourn illness, toxic torts and exposure type injuries.  Jeff can successfully boast his history or obtaining favorable settlements and verdicts for his clients.

Born in Tucson, Arizona where his father served in the Arizona state legislature for over 20 years.  In the 70’s, Jeff’s father got remarried to the sister of Sandra Day O’Connor, who at the time was a state senator, and who would later become the first female justice ever confirmed to United States Supreme Court, and the inspiration for Jeff’s career in law. Jeff finished college at the University of Colorado in Boulder, Colorado and worked in Denver Colorado in the wholesale seafood industry where he cut fish and drove a truck for several years before attending law school at Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington. Following law school, Jeff hopped in a Suzuki Samurai and drove over 3000 miles with no air conditioning to south Florida where he would go on to start his practice as a trial lawyer, and eventually a husband and a father.

Jeff brings a unique and knowledgeable perspective to the practice of injury law, having spent the majority of his career representing insurance companies, and their insureds, in defense of injury claims since 1992.  With over 20 years of litigation experience, Jeff is admitted to all Florida state courts, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and the 11th Circuit Court of Appeal.  Jeff is also an inactive member of the Colorado Bar.  Jeff has tried several cases in both state and federal court, primarily on the central and southeast coast of Florida, and understands the geographic, socioeconomic and cultural nuances of jurors in Florida courts.

When he’s not in the office or  the court room, Jeff can be found coaching lacrosse, fishing or golfing with his son Connor.

Jeff is a very proud father and has a passion for coaching youth sports, with over 15 years of experience in coaching and teaching young men about the life lessons learned through sports. His success is measured more by the success of his former players in life that it is by wins and losses. However, Jeff’s teams nevertheless competed at  national levels in football and lacrosse, having won a Pop Warner Football national championship in 2011 with a season record of 17-0.  Jeff also coached recreational and competitive youth lacrosse, as well as a high school lacrosse assistant coach at Jupiter High School.  Jeff’s son continued his lacrosse career after high school at Duke University where he played for 4 years and competed in two NCAA Div. I national championships.
