Iury P. Carvalho is a personal injury attorney at Steinger, Greene & Feiner. He focuses his practice in the area of personal injury, general negligence, and premises liability. Iury has over a decade of experience in the area of personal injury.
Iury is a lifetime-member of the prestigious Million Dollar Advocates Forum, where membership is limited to attorneys who have won million-dollar verdicts, awards and/or settlements. Fewer than 1% of U.S. lawyers are members.
Iury began his legal career as a legal assistant, where he worked closely with attorneys in handling all aspects of the firm’s cases. Prior to joining Steinger, Greene & Feiner, he worked as an Associate Attorney at a boutique personal injury firm in South Florida, where he gained experience representing Plaintiffs and negotiating settlements in a wide range of cases, including automobile accidents, premises liability, medical malpractice, nursing home abuse/neglect, and wrongful death suits.
Iury earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from Florida International University. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor degree from Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad College of Law, where he served as Vice-President of the Student Bar Association and President of the Tort Law Society. While in law school, Iury was one of only three law students selected by the President of The Florida Bar YLD to serve on one of their committees. Iury was also an active member of the Moot Court Honors Society and NSU Trial Association. He was also selected by his peers as the Commencement Day Speaker at his law school’s graduation.
Iury was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and grew up in South Florida. In his free time, Iury enjoys trying out new restaurants, traveling and playing chess.
Iury is also fluent in Portuguese and Spanish.
