Corey G. Dehate is an attorney in the Tampa office of Steinger, Greene & Feiner. He focuses his practice on pre-litigation matters relating to automobile liability, premises liability, negligent security, and product liability matters.
Prior to joining Steinger, Greene & Feiner, Mr. Dehate was an attorney with the Office of the Public Defender 10th Judicial Circuit of Florida in Tampa. He practiced extensively in criminal defense, handling misdemeanor, violation of probation, and felony cases performing as the first chair and second chair in trials and litigation practice. Previously, Mr. Dehate was an attorney with a Tampa insurance defense law office, where he handled workers’ compensation claims and appeared before Judges of Compensation Claims on client matters, as well as first-party property cases.
Mr. Dehate received his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in May 2017 and a Bachelor of Arts cum laude from Saint Leo University, Florida in May 2014. While in law school, he served as a judicial clerk for the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky and the Kenton County Circuit Court and interned with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Florida.
