Chris Thompson is an Arkansas native and long-term resident of the Nashville, Tennessee area. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Lyon College, his Master of Business Administration from Bethel University, and his Juris Doctor from Belmont University College of Law. After graduating from law school, Chris passed the bar exam on his first attempt in multiple states and immediately began practicing civil litigation across counties throughout Tennessee.
Chris later expanded his practice to the West Coast, where he represented injured victims at a large plaintiffs’ firm, managing a high volume of personal injury cases and fighting to secure just results for his clients. Following his time on the plaintiff side, Chris gained valuable experience defending civil cases before returning to Tennessee to oversee a criminal defense office. In that role, he handled hundreds of misdemeanor and felony matters, advocating for clients across the state.
Now, Chris has returned to his roots—standing up for those injured through no fault of their own. Drawing on his broad background on both sides of the courtroom, Chris is dedicated to ensuring his clients’ voices are heard and that they receive the justice they deserve.
