There will be two seatings at Beaker & Gray for the holiday: 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. You and your guests can enjoy a four-course menu featuring Maine lobster and lamb for just $80 per person. Chocolate cracklin’ will be served for dessert. If you choose the second seating, you will have a complimentary glass of champagne at midnight. Add wine pairings to your meal for just $125 per person.

3. The Continental

4. Pawn Broker

It can be difficult to find a NYE party in Miami for under $100. At Pawn Broker, the newest rooftop bar in the city, you can indulge in an open bar for just $50 for an hour. If you’d prefer to enjoy yourself for two hours, you can shell out $90 for the privilege. The festivities begin at 10 p.m. Reservations are necessary for this party and can be secured at www.pawnbrokermiami.com.

5. The Sarsaparilla Club

Jeff McInnis and Janine Booth, from Top Chef, will share their favorite dishes for this year’s holiday. There is a ten-course tasting menu available during two seatings. The first seating costs just $49 per person and the second $75. An optional drink pairing is available at each seating for an additional $29.

6. Sweet Liberty

This neighborhood bar is hosting a party featuring live music by Patrick & the Swayzees. DJ Mr. Gray will also be present. A full open bar starts at 9 p.m. and runs until midnight. The cost for the three hours is just $100 per person. If anyone isn’t quite ready to go home after the ball drops, Sweet Liberty has free admission after midnight.

7. Wynwood Yard

This holiday party features a lineup of such acts as Telekinetic Walrus, Afrobeta, Otto von Schirach, Serious Jorge, the Galactic Effect, and Juciy Cuci. There are limited tickets available for $100 per person which include entrance, garden seating, a welcome drink, and tableside service from a special holiday menu. If you don’t care about taking the VIP route, general tickets cost $15 or $20 at the door.

8. Ricky’s

Imagine a holiday evening spent pretending you are at the carnival. That’s exactly what you get at Ricky’s. With live music, arcade games and your favorite carnival food all night long, there are also champagne specials to add to your night. There are no tickets required for this event. If you want to party at Ricky’s, just show up at the door.

9. Bird & Bone at the Confidante

This is a new spot that you may not have tried yet. Why not make New Year’s Eve your first try of Bird & Bone? You can enjoy hot chicken from chef Richard Hale and pair it with champagne for just $85 per person.

The best part about all of these New Year’s Eve parties is that they will almost all cost you less than $100 per person. There are few things you will find to do on the holiday that are both exciting and easy on your wallet. The Miami News Times found 10.
