Leads sought in Florida auto accident

The Miami Herald reported that Hollywood police are investigating a hit-and-run that left a local man dead.

Hollywood police responded to the Miami auto accident at Scott Street and North Ocean Drive on Friday night. The car accident happened when an unknown vehicle traveling south on North Ocean Drive hit a pedestrian next to the roadway. The driver almost immediately left the scene.

The Florida auto accident victim was taken to Memorial Regional Hospital, where he died.
