Growing up in a small town in Western, New York, Lance, and his mother would go to the local library in the summertime every week. She would always limit tv time and tell him, “If you don’t want to be bored, then you should read a book.” Eventually, Lance stumbled upon novels written by John Grisham. Grisham wrote stories about talented lawyers who confronted injustice and fought the good fight! These books instilled a deep admiration for the legal profession. From then on, Lance was inspired to one day live up to those standards Grisham had written about, so he pursued a career in law.
Lance attended college in Boston, MA where he enrolled in several pre-law courses. During this time, his talent in writing, critical thinking, and argument was recognized by his professors, who encouraged him to consider a career in law. Thinking back to those summer days reading Grisham, Lance started working as a paralegal for a prominent law firm while in college. With the support of his professors, friends and family, Lance took all of his experience and love for law straight to the Syracuse University College of Law. Soon after receiving his Juris Doctorate, Lance passed the New York Bar exam and spent several years working for corporations throughout the Northeast and Midwest.
Lance relocated to the sunny shores of West Palm Beach in 2015. This relocation to a new state did cause Lance to reevaluate his career and think about the type of lawyer he wanted to be. During this deep contemplation, he heard Rick Friedman’s speech about why he advocates pursuing a career in law that represents the people rather than big corporations! This speech inspired Lance just like those novels by Grisham, igniting the fire within him to fight the good fight.
After passing the Florida Bar Examination, Lance wrote letters to prominent personal injury law firms within the South Florida area. He addressed his desire for a position that would allow him to fight for the rights of people and knew he was the right lawyer for the job! Steinger, Greene & Feiner recognized the potential of this young attorney and knew he would be a great addition to the team. Since joining the firm, Lance has recovered tens of millions of dollars for his clients. In 2019, he was admitted to the prestigious Million Dollar Advocates Forum, whose memberships is limited to trial lawyers that have achieved a trial verdict or settlement in the amount of $1,000,000 or more!
Lance currently resides in West Palm Beach, FL and has not looked back at his cold days in New York! In his free time, he enjoys traveling, staying active, watching his favorite sports teams, and experiencing all of the restaurants, night life and recreational opportunities that South Florida has to offer!
