Jury selection in case of youth death at Florida boot camp is in full swing

A fourteen-year-old boy was repeatedly beaten by guards at a Florida military-style boot camp while a nurse stood by and watched. The event was caught on a security camera, and a trial will decide the fate of the seven guards and nurse who stand accused of aggravated manslaughter of the child. The encounter lasted almost 30 minutes.

The wrongful death led the legislature to rid the state of all military-style boot camps for juvenile offenders last year. Call a Florida wrongful death attorney for more information.
