Drowning Prevention Coalition of Palm Beach County

Drowning Prevention CoalitionListen to Anna Stewart and Shaw Heydt on WRMF. Jennifer Ross, on-air host at 97.9 WRMF, was kind enough to open the Steinger, Greene & Feiner InjuryLawyers.com sponsored studio to Anna Stewart, manager of the Drowning Prevention Coalition of Palm Beach County. The immediate topic of discussion was the upcoming Drowning Prevention Coalition and Palm Beach County Volunteer Fire Battalion Golf Tournament at Binks Forest Golf Course on May 7 in Wellington.

Also present, calling attention to ongoing drowning prevention and preparedness was Steinger, Greene & Feiner Marketing Director Shaw Heydt. Shaw encouraged parents to contact the Drowning Prevention Coalition of Palm Beach County to find swim lessons available throughout the county and learn about Red Cross CPR training events in their area.  Together, 97.9 WRMF and Steinger, Greene & Feiner, actively supporting the Drowning Prevention Coalition of Palm Beach County, are working to help prevent another drowning in our South Florida community.

Special attention to this cause came in a sudden moment, when Steinger, Greene & Feiner paralegal Jo Hunerberg witnessed her youngest son Dylan being resuscitated poolside on Sunday, April 10 in their Evergreen community in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Steinger, Greene & Feiner is committing media resources, contacts, and community-wide event promotion to get the word out as the Drowning Prevention Coalition calls the community to “Pay attention to drowning prevention because there is no sound when a child drowns.”

Special thanks to Jennifer Ross and 97.9 WRMF for meeting our community at its point of need as we move into the pool days of summer here in South Florida.
