At Steinger, Greene & Feiner, we believe in giving back to our community in meaningful ways. One of the causes we are most passionate about is breast cancer research. That’s why we spent the entire month of October supporting breast cancer research efforts.
Breast cancer is a cause that hits close to home for many people at our firm. We have many survivors and friends of the firm who have been personally affected. So, we were proud to support this important cause in multiple ways.
Pink Week at the Offices
One of the highlights of our month-long effort was Pink Week at the office. For an entire week, we held Pink Events to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research. We had Pink Treats, Pink Bows, Pink Socks, Pink Accessories and even a Pink Out Day! All of these events were in support of Breast Cancer awareness.
Raising Money and Awareness
In addition to Pink Week, our offices across the country participated in Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. Together, we raised $2,000 for the American Cancer Society’s mission to end cancer as we know it. And, everyone from each office walked to show their support.
Our Texas offices also raised money and walked for the Susan G. Komen More Than Pink Walk.
To further our support, we donated $5,000 to Play for P.I.N.K, a non-profit that donates 100% of all funds raised to breast cancer research. This marks the fifth year in a row that we have sponsored Play for P.I.N.K., and we were honored to participate in the golfing tournament that took place at Eastpointe in Palm Beach Gardens on October 17.
Play for P.I.N.K. has raised nearly $75 million to fund the world’s most promising breast cancer research by the finest minds in the field. This research is already saving lives, improving outcomes, and uncovering new approaches to this complex, challenging disease. With our support, we can help with breakthroughs in detection, prevention, treatment, and survivorship.
We are proud to be a part of a community that is passionate about supporting breast cancer research.
