Miriam Mijares is an Associate Attorney at Steinger, Greene & Feiner and a passionate advocate for injured clients. She earned her Juris Doctor from Ave Maria School of Law and holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from the University of South Florida. During law school, she interned in both education and family law and completed pro bono work with the Lee County Legal Aid Society, but was ultimately drawn back to personal injury – an area she connected with early in her career.
Before becoming an attorney, Miriam worked for nearly a decade in personal injury. She began as a legal secretary and progressed to paralegal, gaining hands-on experience at every stage of a case. Her unique path gives her a well-rounded, client-centered approach that enhances her advocacy, giving her a deep understanding of client needs.
Bilingual in Spanish and English, she takes pride in serving a diverse client base and ensuring every individual feels seen, heard, and supported throughout their case.
Born in Mexico and raised in Florida since the age of five, Miriam brings cultural sensitivity and personal perspective to her practice. Outside the office, she enjoys traveling, ballroom dancing, and spending time with her family and her cat. She is admitted to the Florida Bar and is an active member of the Young Lawyers Division and Trial Lawyers Division.
