A 35-year-old Fort Lauderdale mother is recovering from injuries after a car hit her while she was riding a bike.
According to the Orlando Sentinel, the mother of two was participating in a nighttime Critical Mass ride, a national movement to demonstrate for bicyclists’ rights. She wasn’t wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
Do you think there are laws to protect bicyclists? Do you think Fort Lauderdale roads are wide enough for cars to maneuver around Fort Lauderdale bicyclists? Why or why not?
