At Steinger, Iscoe & Greene, we are proud to support the efforts of Mothers Against Drunk Driving, MADD, any way that we can. The group works to eradicate drunk driving across the country and offers support to families and victims. If you live in the Fort Lauderdale area or will be visiting at the end of April, we invite you to take part in the Walk Like MADD & MADD Dash.
The annual event will be held at Huizenga Plaza on April 26, 2015 from 7:30 a.m. to noon. To date, walkers and donors have raised more than $70,000 for the cause!
Check-in on the day of the walk starts at 6:00 a.m. and continues until 7:30 a.m. Walkers take their first steps at 7:30 a.m. Registration for the walk is open until April 25 at 5:00 p.m., but donations are accepted right up until noon on New Year’s Eve.

By participating in the Walk Like MADD & MADD Dash, you are telling the world that you want to do something about drunk driving in your community. Help MADD eliminate drunk driving by participating as a team captain, walker, or volunteer at this year’s event. If you do not want to participate in person, you can sign up as a virtual walker or donate to another team.
Get yourself and your team motivated by attending the kick-off party on Wednesday, February 11, 2015. Held at ArtServe on Sunrise Boulevard, the event is come-as-you-are, making it perfect if you’d like to experience an exciting night on the town minus the black tie!
The kick-off event will feature a silent auction, light bites, mock-tails, and a raffle. Parking is free and the event is open to the community. For more information about the kick-off party, contact Heather Geronemus at 954.331.8653 or [email protected].
Whether or not you have been victimized by this thoughtless crime, this is a fantastic way to participate in your community. We encourage anyone who is interested to sign up for this walk. What better way to spend a beautiful, spring afternoon in Florida? If you do not want to or cannot participate, consider making even a small donation. Every dollar helps end drunk driving in Florida and across the nation.
