Every year, Allstate insurance company releases a report of the safest cities to drive in. The report takes into consideration many different factors, including average years between claims, hard braking statistics and relative claim likelihood to determine the safest cities. From this study, 200 cities are chosen for their list.
Boston was listed at number 200, making it the worst city to drive in. The number 1 city, making it the safest to drive in, was Kansas City, KS. Major cities on the list included:

The lowest ranked Florida city was, perhaps unsurprisingly, Miami at no. 123. Various police departments handed out more than 750,000 citations in 2016, most of which were for moving violations — one of the top causes of car accidents. With tourists always in the city, and locals trying to navigate around them, wrecks are bound to happen.
