Police officer causes third Florida car accident

A client of Steinger, Greene & Feiner was injured after a police officer crashed into her vehicle, according to the Sun-Sentinel.

The client was hit after the police officer ran a red light. The officer, who didn’t have his emergency lights or sirens on at the time, was reportedly responding to an attempted burglary when the Palm Beach auto accident occurred.

The police report on the Florida car accident shows that the officer was in violation of both motor vehicle laws and obedience laws. This is the officer’s third on-duty car accident since joining the department.

According to the news report, there were no eye witnesses for the Florida car accident. Upon further investigation, our firm was able to find a witness who was able to confirm the facts of the case and establish that the officer was at fault for our client’s injuries.
