Ana M. Alvarez

Attorney

Fort Lauderdale, Miami, Coral Gables

Ana M. Alvarez is a personal injury attorney in Steinger, Greene & Feiner’s Fort Lauderdale office. She is dedicated to helping injured clients navigate some of life’s most difficult moments with compassion, empathy, and strong legal advocacy. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Ana is committed to ensuring every client feels heard, understood, and supported throughout the legal process.

A Passion for Advocating for People

Ana began her legal career in property insurance defense litigation, where she built a strong foundation in courtroom advocacy and litigation strategy. While she valued the experience, she always knew her true calling was representing individuals—not corporations. That passion ultimately led her to personal injury law, where she can make a direct and meaningful impact on the lives of injured clients.

Her decision to join Steinger, Greene & Feiner was also deeply personal. Through a close friend who had worked at the firm for years, Ana came to admire the firm’s culture, collaborative environment, and unwavering commitment to clients. When the opportunity to join the SGF team arose, it felt like the perfect fit.

Education

Ana earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Florida International University before receiving her Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University College of Law.

During law school, she served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Barbara Areces in Miami-Dade County, gaining valuable insight into courtroom procedures and the judicial decision-making process. She also distinguished herself through her extensive involvement in moot court.

Leadership & Advocacy

Advocacy has always been at the center of Ana’s legal career.

While attending St. Thomas University College of Law, she competed in two national moot court competitions in Brooklyn and Chicago before being elected Executive Vice President of the Moot Court Board during her third year of law school.

Following graduation, Ana returned as an alumni coach, mentoring future advocates. She coached two teams that advanced to the finals of national moot court competitions, helping develop the next generation of trial attorneys.

Professional Philosophy

Ana believes that effective legal representation requires more than legal knowledge—it requires genuine compassion.

She approaches every case with empathy, understanding that clients often come to her during one of the most stressful periods of their lives. Her goal is not only to fight for the best possible legal outcome but also to provide reassurance, guidance, and clear communication every step of the way.

As a fluent Spanish speaker, Ana is also able to communicate directly with Spanish-speaking clients, ensuring they feel comfortable, informed, and empowered throughout their case.

Outside the Office

Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Ana remains deeply connected to her family, who have shaped both her personal values and professional approach. She credits her parents and siblings with instilling the compassion, integrity, and work ethic that guide her every day.

When she’s away from the office, Ana enjoys traveling, discovering cuisines from different cultures, cooking with a great playlist in the background, and spending time with friends and family. She’s also an avid movie enthusiast who rarely misses a new release in theaters.

One fun fact? Ana is a devoted fan of oldies and classic rock and can likely sing along to far more classic hits than most people would expect.
