Michael A. Feiner
Attorney
Michael A. Feiner is an associate in the Port St. Lucie office of Steinger, Iscoe & Greene, P.A. Since being admitted to The Florida Bar in 2001, Mr. Feiner has devoted his practice to representing plaintiffs throughout the State of Florida in various tort and strict liability cases and has successfully litigated cases against national insurance companies, large public companies, and governmental agencies, resulting in collections in excess of $5 million for his clients.
He has handled all types of personal injury and wrongful death cases on behalf of plaintiffs, including automobile negligence, premises liability, medical malpractice, products liability, dog bites, and sexual harassment. Mr. Feiner's product liability case against Microsoft as well as his representation of victims of sexual harassment and abuse by physicians has garnered him great media attention both at the local and national levels.
Mr. Feiner is an experienced trial lawyer and successfully argued an appeal to the Fourth District Court of Appeal. In the reported decision Ortlieb v. Butts, 849 So.2d 1165 (Fla. 4th DCA 2003), Mr. Feiner persuaded the Fourth District Court of Appeal that a directed verdict on liability was appropriate where the defendant did not rebut the presumption of negligence of a rear driver in a rear end collision. He also authored a chapter entitled, “How to Litigate a Brain Injury Case,” which was published by Thompson-West for the American Trial Lawyers Association in the volume entitled, “How to Litigate Tort Cases.”
Mr. Feiner is an active member of the Broward County Trial Lawyers Association and the American Associates for Justice. He is a member of the St. Lucie County Bar Association and is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida. An avid political supporter, Mr. Feiner has served on the campaign committee for Rep. Ken Gottlieb, School Bd. Member Jen Gottlieb, and the judicial campaign of Ken Padowitz.
