Born in Havana, Cuba, Michael Amezaga, Esquire, is an experienced Florida injury attorney with Steinger, Iscoe & Greene. His previous experience includes working as a trial attorney with the New York City Legal Aid Society in the criminal defense division; Assistant Public Defender in Dade County, Florida; and Assistant City Attorney and Municipal Prosecutor in the city of West Palm Beach.
Mr. Amezaga has also worked in insurance defense with Gonzalez, Figueroa & Hoecker, giving him the distinct advantage of knowing how the insurance industry operates. After spending several years as a solo practitioner, Mr. Amezaga worked with Mitchell J. Beers, PA, and then Glinn Somera & Silva before joining up with Steinger, Iscoe & Greene.
