Elisa D. Nocito

With both her medical and legal doctorate degrees and years of experience, Elisa D. Nocito, M.D., Esq., is an esteemed member of the Steinger, Iscoe & Greene legal team.  Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Elisa graduated with her Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Seton Hall University in South Orange, New Jersey. In 1982 she graduated as a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Illinois, Abraham Lincoln School of Medicine  and upon completing her residency in Chicago, received her license to practice  in 1983.  After practicing medicine for a few years, Elisa turned to academia, joining the faculty of Fullerton College in California as an anatomy and physiology instructor.  Eager for yet another challenge, Dr. Nocito, Esq., attended Nova Southeastern University, where she was a Goodwin Scholar and a member of Nova Law Review. While a law student, she volunteered at the Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County. She earned her Juris Doctor degree and was admitted to the Florida bar in 2002.  Elisa has also been admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Northern, Middle, and Southern District of Florida.

Dr. Nocito, Esq., spent several years practicing medical malpractice and insurance law, representing corporate clients, including hospitals, physicians, and insurance companies.  In recent years Elisa has devoted her practice exclusively to representing individuals against the insurance companies that she formerly defended.  Her medical background combined with her prior law experience enhances immeasurably her ability to pursue justice for her clients.
