10 Places in Miami to Watch Fireworks this New Year’s Eve

FAST FACTS

  • Firework injuries are the cause of nearly 13,000 emergency room visits every year
  • Over half of those injuries were to the extremities
  • Children under 15 account for nearly 40% of injuries

There are few better ways to finish up the holiday season than by watching fireworks with your friends and loved ones on New Year’s Eve. Miami is the perfect place to do so, whether you go to a loved one’s home or hit one of South Florida’s many gorgeous beaches.

If you’re planning to celebrate with fireworks this New Year’s Eve in Miami, it’s important you know Florida’s fireworks laws. You’re personally allowed to buy and use sparklers, snakes, fountains and glow worms. However, you’re not allowed to set off aerial and/or explosive fireworks unless they’re being used for an approved purpose — and celebrating New Year’s Eve is not an approved use.

Since you can’t legally set off fireworks on your own, your best bet is to find an approved fireworks show this year. Here are our Florida personal injury lawyers’ 10 favorite spots:

1. Relax at the City of Miami Beach

9th Street and Ocean Drive, Miami Beach, FL 33139
