Canady was the keynote speaker with the state of the judiciary address. Other speakers were journalist in residence Linda Greenhouse and lecturer Joseph Goldstein, both from Yale Law School. Gov. Rick Scott was a surprise guest speaker. He addressed the difficulty in funding the judiciary in difficult economic times.
